Pine Greek Raw Honey, 920gr.

Meli Serron, Greek Raw Pine Honey, 920g, glass jar:

Ancient Greeks considered it the exclusive food of the Gods of Olympus. It is a symbol of Health, Well-Being, and Longevity. Justifiably, both honey and the bee are at the top of human esteem. It is the only natural, healthy sweetener, and legends, traditions, historical texts, medical recipes, cooking recipes, and confectionery recipes have systematically referred to it from ancient times until today. Honey has references in all religions.

Greek Honey is unique in the whole world and stands out for its authenticity, its naturalness, its colour, its taste, its density and, in general, its organoleptic characteristics.

Our Greek raw pine honey is a variety of honey from the forests of Northern Greece and the island of Thasos. Honey is collected by our bees from nectar found at high altitudes, in dense forests of firs and pines, during the summer and autumn.

Our Pine honey is categorised as raw honey. When honey is extracted from the beehive, it is only strained to remove wax and other non-honey particles. Honey does not undergo any heat processing. That way, processing does not severely affect its vitamins, antioxidants and nutritional properties.

It is rich in minerals (calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, etc.), protein and amino acids. Pine honey has anti-inflammatory properties; it's an antioxidant, immunostimulant, and cleanser. It helps cure some bacterial, dermatological, degenerative, inflammatory, and autoimmune diseases. When used externally, it is beneficial for wounds; scientific studies show that the trace elements are highly antiseptic, and rheumatic diseases.

Taking one spoonful of honey daily can have numerous health benefits. Doctors recommend that honey be taken on an empty stomach early in the morning as it gives an instant kick and energy boost, enough to counter an entire day. Also, while going to bed, a spoonful of honey gives a good night's sleep and helps in digestion and relaxation of mind and body. It also has fewer calories than other honey varieties, and it is suitable for those who watch their diet.

Our raw pine honey can be consumed with your favourite morning cereal, bread with butter, as a glaze or marinade, or as a salad dressing. You can also enjoy it with tea, milk, or lemon water, but you need to make sure that the drink is cooled down first before you mix a spoonful of honey.

Crystallisation and quality: Crystallisation is a natural phenomenon unrelated to the honey's quality and does not cause any changes in its nutritional value. Crystallised honey is neither adulterated nor damaged. It can be liquidated easily if you place the jar in a bain -mari with water max 40 ° Celsius for a few minutes and stir well.
