Quince is a fruit, that although its high nutritional value, isn’t appreciated for what it deserves among other fruits of our country. Quince is cultivated in the Mediterranean, particularly in Greece and in autumn is at the peak of its glory. For quince, there are many reviews in Greece, even from ancient times, where it was considered to be Aphrodite’s fruit, goddess of Love, which is why in the later years, it was the fruit that it was given to brides on their wedding day.

Apart from the legend and the customs, the scientifically proven fact is that quince is a very beneficial fruit for our health as it contains valuable vitamins and nutrients that make it one of the most nutritious fruits. It has high comprehensiveness in water and potassium, and also contains vitamins C, A and complex B vitamins. It also contains dietary fibres in generous quantities, and among its nutrients are phosphorus and iron. It is distinguished for the large quantities of tannin that has potent antioxidant activity and pectin is good against cholesterol.   In order to enjoy quince beyond the autumn season when it ripens, this unique beneficial, winter and tasty fruit, we used old traditional recipes of Chios, where, with love and knowledge based on modern techniques with high quality, we made for you this spoon sweet fruit from quince. It has a sensational sweet, mellow flavour that floods the mouth. 

Our traditional Greek Sweet fruit preserves from Quince, you may enjoy it with cold water, or coffee, accompanied by yoghurt or after a meal and appreciate its great taste, unique aroma and high nutritional value.

1. Shipping Services

1.1 All orders are sent by tracked delivery through our trusted logistics partners. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a tracking number so you can follow your parcel.

1.2 Parcels weighing up to 9 kg are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48. Estimated delivery is 2 to 3 working days.

1.3 Parcels weighing more than 9 kg are sent by Parcelforce Tracked 48. Estimated delivery is 2 to 3 working days.

1.4 The delivery options and costs available for your order will be shown at checkout.

2. Delivery Address and Missed Deliveries

2.1 Orders will be delivered to the address you provide at checkout. Please make sure it is complete and correct. We cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.

2.2 If no one is available to receive the parcel, the carrier will try to deliver it again or leave instructions for collection. You are responsible for contacting the carrier promptly to rearrange delivery or to collect the parcel.

2.3 If a parcel is not received or collected and the carrier returns it to us, the following will be deducted from any refund:

• (a) the original delivery charge;
• (b) the return carriage cost of £2.50 per item; and
• (c) a handling and repackaging charge of £2.00 per item.

3. Delivery Timescales

3.1 We aim to dispatch all orders within one working day. Delivery dates are estimates only.

3.2 We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, severe weather or industrial action.

3.3 If we cannot dispatch your order by the estimated date, you may cancel it at any time before dispatch and receive a full refund.

4. Returns and Refunds

We are committed to customer satisfaction and stand by the quality of our products. Please read this section carefully, as it explains your rights and obligations. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

A. Change-of-Mind Returns

4.1 If you change your mind or order an item by mistake, you may cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive it. To do so, contact our Customer Care Team through the Contact Us section. You must then return the items within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel.

4.2 You are responsible for the cost of returning the items to us.

4.3 Please take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and return them in their original condition and packaging where possible. If an item's value has gone down because it was handled more than was necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, we may reduce your refund accordingly.

4.4 Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will refund the price of the goods you originally paid within 14 days. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

4.5 The right to cancel does not apply to:

• (a) perishable goods or goods that may deteriorate rapidly; or
• (b) sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

4.6 The following will be deducted from any refund:

• (a) the original delivery charge;
• (b) the return carriage cost of £2.50 per item; and
• (c) a handling and repackaging charge of £2.00 per item.

B. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

4.7 If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged or not as described, or an incorrect item, please contact our Customer Care Team through the Contact Us section as soon as possible.

4.8 Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery and tell us about any shortages, defects or other problems promptly, ideally within 14 days of delivery.

4.9 Once you have contacted us, we will email you instructions for returning the item. Returns must be sent to our fulfilment centre using our nominated carrier, at our expense.

4.10 Please include proof of purchase with the returned item, such as your order confirmation, sales invoice or delivery note, so we can process your return quickly.

4.11 Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including the original delivery charge, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
