  • Meli Serron, Blossom & Thyme Greek honey, 920gr, glass jar:

Thyme and wildflowers honey has a fragrant, pleasant taste, with rich flavour and shiny appearance, in a light colour.  It is derived from the nectar of different wildflowers and thyme, from the Greek plains and mountains.  It is produced from May to August.  It consists of a mixture of sugars and other components and provides to the body with numerous nutrients.  Regarding carbohydrates, honey mainly consists of fructose (approx. 38.5%) and glucose (approx. 31%) and also smaller amounts of maltose, sucrose, and galactose.  Our Greek honey is raw, unstrained and does not undergo any heat processing. In that way, processing does not severely affect its antioxidant and nutritional properties. H

Crystallization and quality: Crystallization is a natural phenomenon not related to the quality of the honey and does not cause any changes in its' nutritional value. Crystallized honey is neither adulterated nor damaged. It can be liquidated easily if you place the jar in a bain -mari with hot water 40 ° Celsius for a few mins.

  • Contains:

    • Low proteins
    • Zero fats
    • Numerous amino acids, such as proline, phenylalanine, tyrosine, valine, etc.
    • Plenty of antioxidants (vitamin C, chrysin, catalase, etc.)
    • Varying amounts of trace elements and vitamins, such as vitamin C, vitamin B6, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, zinc, etc.
  • The company applies system management of food safety by ISO 22000:2005 of International Organization for Standardization.  The Aristotle university of Thessaloniki is constantly certifying honey's high-quality level, with reports
