  • Greek Early Harvest Green Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Agourelaio), 1lt glass bottles, premium production from Nemea :

Considered a gift from the Gods and a peace symbol, the olive tree and its precious fruit have been interwoven with the Greek tradition for the past 5,000 years. Olive oil, known from antiquity for its miraculous properties, was for Hippocrates, the great ancient healer, a fact that has been confirmed by modern scientific research.

A single variety extra virgin olive oil with an exceptionally low acidity that does not exceed 0,3%, is produced in Nemea, which has unique characteristics thanks to the local microclimate and is harvested early in the middle of October. The oil is extracted within 4-8 hours of harvest and cold-pressed under optimal conditions.

A Source of many nutrients, olive oil is a basic ingredient of the Mediterranean Diet. It contributes to balanced nutrition, stabilizes the metabolism and assists in the healthy development of children. Rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, it helps keep cholesterol levels low. It is a source of natural antioxidants (polyphenols), contains vitamin E, contributes to the strengthening of the immune system and retards the ageing process.

Characterized by mid to high intensity fruitiness with enhanced tones of fresh green olive. Complex in taste, yet delicate with moderate fruity bitter and spicy tones, it is best consumed raw as a finishing touch to all your dishes.

The olive groves are in the northeastern part of the Peloponnese, in Greece, in a place called : Nemea. In Greek mythology, Nemea was ruled by king Lycurgus and queen Eurydice. Nemea was famous in Greek myth as the home of the Nemean Lion, which was killed by the ancient hero Heracles.

  • Exclusively produced from the prime olive variety ''Megaritiki ''. Olives of the Megaritiki variety are selected by hand and then cold pressed to produce the unique monovarietal Sellas extra virgin olive oil. The oil is characterized by its intense fruitiness and sweet notes that balance the bitter and spicy aftertaste.
