  • Greek Traditional Bar ( Pasteli ) with Sesame & Dark Chocolate, Net Weight 600g (Box of 20 Bars of 30g each):

Sesame bars or pasteli, as it is known in Greece, is a traditional snack with its origins in antiquity. Throughout the ages, our beloved sesame bar, prepared with sesame and honey, has been and continues to be not only a sweet snack, but also a natural source of energy.

The basic recipe for Greek Pasteli with honey indicates that the honey should be boiled and then mixed carefully with sesame seeds to tie in well together. After the mixture is formed, it's left to cool down and then cut into pieces.

Its  high content of vitamin E, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and iron in combination with the fact that it is easily digestible offer the consumer a nutritional snack for every moment of the day.

Today, JANNIS is the world's most recognized ambassador of this Greek traditional snack and its variants.
